I've been playing bass and horn a bunch this past month. March was very busy. I played bass with the local folk rock group Counting 10. I'm also playing French horn with The Logan Square New Music Ensemble. There are more gigs to come...

McAuley just approved a summer camp for wind instruments called "Summer Winds." It is a camp I deseigned for wind and percussion players in grades 6-12. If you have any questions or are interested in signing up for the class please contact me. 

I am currently teaching at Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School! What a great community. What a great first job. The students are the best part of the job. The freshmen in general music are energetic; they are teaching me more than I am teaching them. The older students are very nice. They were very cool about the change of the guards. As a new teacher, I feel very welcome. The transition is going well. 

  I teach the Chamber Winds and Symphonic Strings. They combine to create a full orchestra. I also teach to general music classes. We also have three other music teachers at the school. They teach strings and choir. Everybody is very talented and very cool.
